Supported Data Sources
Fast Designer offers native, out-of-the-box connectivity to a wide range of popular enterprise databases and structured data file types:

- Structured Data Files: CSV, XML, and JSON dataset files.

Core Compatibility
Fast Designer is built on the foundation of the open-source Fast Report engine with slight functional optimizations. Because of this shared architecture, all .frx layout templates generated within Fast Designer maintain full, bidirectional compatibility with standard Fast Report instances
